Your Questions About Hyperinflation 2010

Donald asks…

As Hyperinflation is due to ramp up early in 2010 will the “National Commission on Inflation” help?

Will Obama encourage us to wear the old W I N (Whip Inflation Now) buttons Gerald Ford made popular back in the 1970′s?

Does the “National Commission on Inflation” still exist?

Answer Man answers:

There may be food and gas rations.

Sandy asks…

How will you manage when the U.S. Dollar vaporizes due to hyperinflation?

http://www.businessinsider.com/japans-hyperinflation-nightmare-2010-1

Thanks 0bombo!

Answer Man answers:

I will just keep my faith in God.

Ken asks…

What’s your guess on a hyperinflation timeline?

I’m moving from thinking “a few years” to “a few months”. When (not if) do you expect hyperinflation?

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2010-09-28/u-s-dollar-is-one-step-nearer-to-crisis-chinese-former-adviser-yu-says.html

Answer Man answers:

It depends on the election results this year. If the world sees a congress unwilling to keep spending and following Obama’s plan then they might keep buying our bonds and saving our dollars, if not people will be looking to unload their bad investments.

Daniel asks…

If this past disastrous year is just a preminition of what’s to come, what can we expect from Obummer in 2010?

Another failed stimulus? Increased unemployment? Hyperinflation? Increased acts of terror due to Obama’s inability to be strong? Open borders for unlimited immigration? Unparalleled taxation?

Answer Man answers:

Add to your list … The Greatest Depression the U.S. Has ever seen, Martial Law, Americans being imprisoned for disagreeing with this Administration, Unparalleled government dependence, Gitmo’s being freed, Staged acts of violence in the U.S. To get population to WANT government intervention, FORCED vaccinations, beginnings of severe side effects of dangerous vaccines, closer to having people be injected with RFID chips …. Sick of thinking about all the destruction this Chief Community Organizer is helping to cause (although he is just a puppet in the big scheme.) Needless to say, this is one imposter that the U.S. Will wish they had never laid eyes on when all is said and done! God Bless!

Maria asks…

What are your predictions — for the US in the next 1 to 5 yrs — 2010 to 2014?

Brzezinski is predicting class war — others are predicting riots civil unrest and so on

Some see a new dawn and a new hope

Some see a world at war —

——————-

The speculation I have heard runs wild — land for US debt where the creditors take land in payment

Hyperinflation — massive deflation FEMA camps nuclear war — the list of dire predictions appears endless and a little worse each day

——————-

Where are you — what are your predictions and why do you think that?

Answer Man answers:

Maybe it’ll turn out like “Jericho”…

Your Questions About Bug Out Bag Gear

Betty asks…

this is some what of an old question about the old web gear:?

I am sure that I have everything correct for the rucksack and placed in the right spot (even though I am still not all that sure they are in the right spot and if I have everything and specially where to put the spare socks, underwear, bras, and mainly the spare boots), but the question is about the old web gear. I know there is allot of different ways to put it together, but what would you carry in the bug out bag/day pack or what ever you would like to call that pack in the back by your bum? I am trying to put together a complete set that you would wear during training or as if you where to use the old gear for a long hike through the woods.

Answer Man answers:

Here is a typical packing list

-LCE/LBV (Load carrying equipment/loadbearing vest)
Magazines (for your weapon)
Compass
Whistle
Angleneck flashlight
First Aid pouch
Canteens w/cup
canteen pouch

-Buttpack
Wet weather top
Poncho
Poncho Liner
Bungee cords (for making a hooch)
Gloves
Neck Gaiter
and POGy bait (fat snacks)

-Rucksack
2-3 Sets BDUs (if your talking web gear that would be the uniform)
7 pair socks
7 tshirts
sleeping bag
wet weather bottoms
extra gloves
watch cap
hygiene kit
extra boots
550′ cord
100mph tape

Sandra asks…

what backpack do you have for your B.O.B.?

whats the best backpack/rucksack/assault pack/expedition pack for a bug out bag. i want something from a proven manufacturer thats either better or at least as good as current military issue gear.

my criteria:
-large capacity
-super heavy duty material
-inner or outer frame or something like an A.L.I.C.E. pack
-preferably waterproof. not just a a pack with a bag to put over it but waterproof material if possible

Answer Man answers:

There may be better options available but it is large enough to hold everything I need and is waterproof. If the wax ever wears away you can re-wax it easily and cheaply. I like something with buckles as well in case a zipper breaks your pack isn’t useless. It’s a little heavier than some others, but to me that is a sign of quality material. I’m a little old fashioned though. There are a few outer pockets for keeping important items separate.

Of course you could always visit a surplus store and get a military issue pack. There are many fine packs available, both government or commercial, but this one is good quality for your money.

George asks…

What would you do if someone invaded The United States?

OK this question is purely for fun, but i do want a serious answer.

Say the United States go invaded by…China? (not saying that would happen but they probably have the best chance of doing so [dont argue with me on this just answer the question])

The entire United States Government is completely destroyed and yet the entire US is in Choas
there is looters everywhere currency is almost completely gone its everyman for himself.

Say you can get any tool you want but be reasonable don’t say a tank or a F16 pick things civilians can purchase.

What would you do?
Would you set up camp some where?
What would be in your bug out bag?
What weapons would you bring?
Who would you bring with you?
If you were setting up camp what type of security would you have? (barbwire fencing, security cameras ect)
What type of vehicle would you have?
What would you wear? (BDU, Web gear, ect)
Would your try to create a new Military with other survivors?
Would you be actively Rebel meaning would you seek out Chinese Camps?

Try to be descriptive. Once again this is just for fun even though i know i will have stupid comments like grow up or that Ive been playing to many video games.

Answer Man answers:

I’d move to Thailand if I could get out, but if I had to stay I have a 1000 yard killing zone and lots of ammo, they’d have to bomb me out.

Vet-USAF

Daniel asks…

Where would you keep a hunters time capsule?

I asked earlier today what you would put in one now where would you keep it?
If you kept it at home generations down the line it would probably be lost or used. But if you kept it in say a wilderness or in some remote area it would require them to find it. And they just might need it to get there.
So where would you keep a suit case sealed container with survival gear and knowledge for a distant relative? We are talking maybe generations from now after some collapse of society or disaster to survive in the wilderness. This would be different than a bug out bag or home survival kit.

Maybe a bear cave? Lol Where would you stash it?

This would be for any place in SE Alaska but could be for any state.
Great idea! This is the kind of answers I wanted!

Answer Man answers:

Get yourself one of those hard plastic overpack drums, the kind they put leaky 55 gallon drums in, with the air tight screw on lid. Put your case inside that overpack drum, pick a remote spot out in the wilderness somewhere, somewhere you know for a fact will never be built on. Bury it deep, mark it’s location on GPS and log those coordinates in the family bible, for emergency use only.

David asks…

Presented for your enjoyment. Feel free to share any I’ve missed. Easy 10 points. If you never served, likely not so funny. This sent to me by a fellow retired Zoomie

Your Questions About Emergency Survival

Helen asks…

What should I put in a emergency survival bag?

I’m looking to put a survival bag in my house that will sustain 2 people fir 72 hours (3days) any sugestions

Answer Man answers:

Depends on how big the bag is to be honest, and where it is for. A VERY basic kit for wilderness survival has:
1. Safety Pins: Can be used to mend clothing, sleeping bags, and tents, or it could even be used as a fishing hook.

3. Thin Wire: Wire can be used for binding(just like rope), and also many other uses. Wire is handy since it can be used over and over again. Snares are the most common use for wire in survival situations.

4. Fishing line, Hooks, and Sinkers: With these items one could create a fishing rod. The line could also be used for other uses as well. Including snares.

5. Reflective Material: For signaling down people who are looking for you, or maybe lighting a fire. This could be a mirror or something else. My hint would be to get a small mirror that you can glue to the inner lid of the soap dish.

6. Button Compass: So you do not get more lost. Get one that glows in the dark so it can be used at night. These compass’s are small and are not the best, but in a pinch they will do the trick.

7. Candle: For fire lighting and warmth(if you have no fire).

8. Matches/Fire Starters: Matches, flint/steal, or even steal wool and a battery can be used to light fires.

9. Needles, Thread, and Buttons: For mending materials, such as clothes, or even for first aid purposes.

10. Adhesive Bandages: For first aid.

11. *Salt: Salt is needed to keep healthy and to have energy. You lose salt when you sweat or pee.

12. Plastic Bag: Could be used to hold water or food. It could also be used as a water collection device. Even a very small one is better than nothing.

13. *Water Sterilizing Tablets: For cleaning water you are unsure about. Use other water treatment techniques as well.

A person trained in survival could survive off that easy, but if you want to add in more you could add in food(maybe military IMP’s), a knife, a saw, space blanket or tarp(for shelters), and most importantly clean water. A person can survive weeks without food but only three days without water.

Betty asks…

Where can I find information on catching and cooking animals in wilderness for emergency survival needs?

I want to learn about what I can catch and cook and eat to replenish my energy if I’m stuck in the woods or desert or open plains with little or no equipment. How to find them, and how to know if they’re edible, and how to eat them.

I can’t seem to find anything on google, so I need some help thanks.

Answer Man answers:

You should read the book SAS survival guide
it was written by an SAS soldier
it is a great book and was only about 10 bucks at my local chapters
it has information on how to survive everywhere in the world

Paul asks…

Do you own an emergency survival pack?

If so.. what do you keep in there?
and what do you usually keep on you for self defense.
or in your home.. in case of a natural disaster etc
or wilderness survival

Answer Man answers:

I’m prepared, like a prepper would be. I live near LA, where scientists claim the big one will strike within the next 30 years. Scientists are wrong on a lot of things, but hell, it pays to be prepared and its better to have it when you need it than not have it when you need it.

My SHTF situation preps include:
a 150 day (5 months) supply of mixed food- freeze-dried, MREs, supermarket sized canned foods, and those really big cans of food that some people get.

I have water, not much, I figure I’ll get more when the SHTF. I got plenty of money and some gold/silver around, There is enough water for a week or two, but in the long run not enough.

I have some supplies, ways to light my area, to cook, to provide heat, to cool things down. I’m working on a solar set up but waiting to see if PV panels are EMP proof. Pointless to spend 3k on a setup just to have it fry after a HEMP attack. Nuclear attacks, well, I’ll be dead before I know it. I would like a emp proof vehicle and some fuel, but that’s years away.

I have an extensive collection of tools, some power, some hand. If I can get that PV system set up and tested, then I can use my power tools.

Finally, defense. Since I said if a nuclear attack happened I’ll be dead before I know it, its apparent I live near a major target. Major targets can be of military value or a civilian target. I’m near a civilian target, and its a civilian target since it has people, lots of people. 191,000 in my city, 3.4 million in the county, about 14 million in the metro area. So that’s a lot of people. I need good defenses. Luckily California has a very negative attitude towards firearms ownership so I’ll probably be dealing with people armed with knives and sticks, and maybe a few gang members who are not more harm than the 500 people surely to be at my doorstep. Gang members do have guns, but they are limited by California magazine capacity and firearms availability. They take on average 30 rounds to hit a person once, and those with rifles are not of much harm to me. To the mob, yes, since they’re most likely to be hit instead.

I have a collection of long guns, as I am under 21 and can’t buy a handgun. I am looking into buying one as I turn 21 this august. I stockpile ammo and magazines as if guns will be banned forever soon, and they will. I have enough ammo to defeat the metro area’s SWAT and police, so that’s more than enough. I have enough magazines, even though they’re 10rd ones, to stop a 30 men strong raiding party made up of violent criminals. I’m also a good marksman so that helps some.

As for the weapons themselves:
home defense #1 is the shotgun. Its the nearest (next to my bed) and optimized for home defense as well as plinking. What it doesn’t do so well on is ammo availability. 20 gauge as it runs out I can find buckshot or slugs for. Well, indoors birdshot will do fine.

I have my Marlin 925r rifle, superbly accurate .22LR rifle. I can hit a beer bottle (that’s 2.5 inches wide) at 200 yards. Half my stockpile is in .22LR. Which is around 23,000 rounds. I have high velocity, standard velocity, subsonic, shotshells, CB, BB caps, blanks, and everything else you can imagine. Nearly all are Federal high velocity from Walmart though.

Next is my Ruger 1022 carbine, Its terrible in accuracy, but decent enough to pick off 5″ targets at 50 yards, I can probably hunt game with it or use it in some rapid crowd control.

Follows is my Norinco SKS, with two trigger groups, one has a perfectly good sear and smooth trigger pull, the other wit ha bad sear that results in full auto slam firing. Its like a select fire assault rifle that takes about 8 minutes to switch between modes. Semi is when its my combat rifle, full auto is again, rapid crowd control. I really don’t like full auto since its a terrible waste of ammo. And its bad for the gun.

The Kel Tec SU 16 CA carbine is my second “sniper”. Its not as accurate, but greater range up to 600 yards theoretically if I’m shooting humans. I usually shoot up to 200 yards ,so 600 yards is strictly “in theory”. Humans are about 15 inches wide and 50 inches effective target area. I know the carbine can shoot that far that accurately, and the .223 round capable to kill up to 900 yards, so in theory it can be done. The Kel Tec is also semiautomatic so with ironsights I can use like I would with an AR15.

I have a Mosin Nagant, I’ve avoided shooting it lately since heavy ball isn’t pleasant. I figure heavy ball can probably hole some engines if needed and decent anti-material round. I got blanks for it too, so as warning shots at night. There was a huge fireball when I did that last time.

Finally, the WASR-10 rifle, with monsterman grip to comply with state laws. I have a spare pistol grip so in a SHTF situation, I can swap that out quick. Who cares about state law when law and order comes to a dead halt? Same can’t be said for the magazine situation. I;m stuck with crappy 10rd for the time being, I’ll use the WASR if the “people” situation get too much for the SKS and Kel Tec to handle.

Wilderness survival I’m going with the Marlin 925r. Its accurate enough to shoot a little yellow bird at 80 yards out of a tree, it’ll be great for hunting.

Also, I nearly left out, I’m not the type to start shooting people when a mob forms outside my house with sticks and stones and a couple really badly shooting gang members. I have tear gas grenades and smoke emitters/grenades lying around, after some searching, I got ahold of several mil-spec tear gas grenades. I would use them first so make people go away if the smoke didn’t make them leave. The mil spec I’m told can stop even the most determined or desperate mob. People would be vomiting for hours. I got fireworks and firecrackers too if I feel using 100% CS gas grenades is a little too evil on a crowd of hungry, desperate people, especially if there’s children in it.

I also have a small emergency bag that I often carry in case of trouble, one for in the wilderness and one for the city. The city pack I always have, it has jumper cables, a cell phone quick charger, a small wad of cash, maps of local areas, first aid kit, 3 road flares, one signal triangle, one MRE, one flashlight, 2 glow sticks, one emergency food bar pack, and about 1 gal water.

The wilderness survival is when I get stuck somewhere and my car doesn’t work. Its more me focused than the car. I put 6 day’s food, medical handbook and 1st aid kit, 2 flashlights, glow sticks, batteries for flashlight, compass, some basic survival equipment, a foil blanket, hand warmers, fire starters, emergency water packets to around another gallon’s worth, some food related tools and supplies, some other goodies I think I might need. I thought about putting a compact pellet gun in it just in case I have animal issues or need to hunt for food, but so far I haven’t done so.

Linda asks…

Have you ever been caught in a big flood, heavy snow, wild fire,or any emergency/survival situation, etc?

Your Questions About Economic Collapse

Joseph asks…

How will a United States economic collapse affect Asia?

Apparently, from what I’ve heard the United States is headed for an economic collapse. What I want to know is how will an Economic Collapse affect Asia?

According to Peter Schiff, Asian currency will rise as the US dollar falls. China is looking to be a world economic leader and would lead Asia. Also billionaire Jim Rogers has moved to Singapore and said that China is going to grow.

Do any of you feel that any of this is true? What I want to know is how will Asia do if the United States collapses economically?

Answer Man answers:

First of all, the US economy is not going to collapse. It’s not even clear we’re in a recession. The great depression was exacerbated by a fledgling fed that did exactly the opposite of what they should have done. That is, they took liquidity out of the system rather than adding it.
Regarding your question, a collapse of the largest economy in the world (we are four, some think five times larger than China in GDP) would send the entire world into a depression. Since we would presumably default on our treasury bonds, of which China and Japan hold the most in the world, countries who hold our bonds as foreign reserves would experience a crisis of liquidity. Also, their export markets would dry up overnight and there would be a run on their banks. It is difficult to judge, but Asian countries would probably be worse off than the US.

Carol asks…

How many people died during the economic collapse of Germany and Argentina? IMPORTANT not just for me but you?

Like of starvation and stuff due to the economic collapse of germany after 1918 and the recent major economic collapse of Argentina.

How did they fix their bad economy.
Why can’y we fix our bad economy?

If the US dollar collapsed and went into hyperinflation.
How many people here would starve and die as a result?
MAJ KEV, you idiot, this is not my homework.
This is “seemingly” IMPORTANT info we will need seeing our economy is heading down the same path.

Answer Man answers:

No one knows the answer to your question.
Sad isn’t it?
People don’t know **** about anything important.
All they care about is Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, and Britney Spears.

Helen asks…

What effect would a US economic collapse have on the world?

Could someone explain how a US economic collapse would effect the rest of the world.
Would the affect on different countries generally be the same, or would some countries be hit much harder? I live in South Africa, and am wondering how my country would be affected if the US faced a great depression/economic collapse.

Answer Man answers:

In our current Global style economy the effects could be pretty bad. Although Americans who are unproductive and have a sense of entitlement could be affected worst of all. Countries that receive aid from the US would suffer for sure. In my opinion though this aid should be stopped now. How a country that is trillions in debt running historic deficits, waging endless wars has money to give to other countries is beyond me.

Think for yourself a lot of folks claim this can’t happen. However up until about 2 years ago most people would claim that housing prices could never trend lower at a national level. Right up til the housing crash. Just because it’s never happened before does not make it impossible

The United States currently has a plan to spend it’s way out of this problem by adding more debt. While increased government spending may help in the short term it has done nothing for the underlying foundational issues in our economy.

Lisa asks…

Economic Collapse?

Is the American enconomy going to collapse to the extent that we will be considered a third world country?

Answer Man answers:

Not third ,but 2nd, yes.It is another sign of the agony of Capitalism.

Robert asks…

What happens after an economic collapse?

America has a debt of 14 trillion (14 000000000000 dollars) and is bankrupt. What happens after an economic collapse?

Answer Man answers:

Society as we know it ceases to exist. First people find that they can’t access money from their accounts. All business transactions become cash based until all faith in paper money has evaporated. Food disappears along with all things that must be transported long distances. Utilities such as electricity and water stop functioning. Martial law is implemented. Hospitals are militarized and found to be lacking in resources. All those who have not prepared by storing food, supplies, weapons and ammo are not doing too well. Government representatives escort all people who are not self sufficient to FEMA camps. Military begins attempts at confiscation of food and other resources. Civilians that have an interest in making sure no one takes what belongs to them fight back. Many people die of starvation and trauma and lack of medical service. Agricultural areas do better than other areas. The United States fragments as ceases to exist. The rest of the world is in a similar situation. A period of great upheaval begins. The rest is up to us. Be prepared.

Your Questions About Long Term Food Storage

Steven asks…

best foods for long term storage?

Answer Man answers:

Anything canned has a VERY long shelf life
usually between a few years, to over 5 officially
unoffically, they can last for decades and still be completely edible, just might not taste as great

Betty asks…

What are some of the best foods to store long term?

Seeing that our economy is failing, our country is 11 trillion in debt and we continue to pass stuff like the stimulus package, and mostly likely health care reform and cap and trade, What are the best foods to store long term?

I can’t help but to think about food storage and the best foods to store.

I was thinking rice and wheat but not so sure? Any other suggestions and how best to store them? Thanks.
JC- Call it paranoid if you wish, I prefer to look at it as being prepared.
Thanks for your answer though. :)

Answer Man answers:

No, not rice or wheat, they will get bugs.
Canned foods and bottled foods are good for the long term.
The 2 year expiration date means nothing.
Can’s can last 10 years or more.

But whats the point?
If there is no food to be had and you have it, your the first one
the people will kill to get your stash.
Stop being paranoid.

Prepared?
Then get a gas mask, rifle and some hand granades.
If it comes to that, you’ll need those also.
Mind you, no disrespect here.
But thats the truth of the matter. If the food dries up, you’ll die with or without it( one way or another).
Either way,
Good luck and do what you believe.

Lisa asks…

Is re-cleaned Corn, and wheat safe for cooking?

I live in SoCal. Want to start a long term food storage. Can’t get Wheat or Corn anywhere around. But have feed stores that sell Recleand Corn & Wheat for livestock. Is this safe for humans

Answer Man answers:

Dont know but you can vacum pack

Michael asks…

Why is this the first generation that refuses to keep a food cellar or stock up on a resonable amount of food?

I placed a order for some long term storage able food from multiple distributor’s and ALL of them are back up like never before..its been about a month since i placed my order and they still haven’t shipped it…with all the dead birds dropping out of the sky around the world and earthquake activity higher then ever recorded in history, along with a whole host of things..wouldn’t it be prudent to keep al least a 3 month supply of food and water?

Answer Man answers:

I have no idea. Most can’t afford it with government stealing most of their money. Everyone I know out here in the country side have a minimum of 3 months food supply and we have our own water wells. Most have generators for essential electricity. And most heat with wood or have wood heat back up. The city people will be in dire straights in an emergency. They will be forced into the camps set up by the government.

George asks…

Is storing food for emergencies really a good idea or is it just being paranoid?

We have all witnessed the paranoia of the Y2K bug scare. people storing everything from food to water to clothing and who knows what else. I understand a little stored away is good for those months when money gets tight but an entire years worth? Hmmm! When I lived in a port town in Alaska we in the winter of 2000 experienced avalanches up the road from us that cut off supplies for days on end. It was mass hysteria! The shelves at the grocery stores were bare of everything essential. only junk food remained. I looked everywhere for food supplies. Finally 3 days later the millitary flew food into us. So OK I learned my lesson on short term food storage that year but, is it good to store more long term for a year or so or is that a bit over the top?
It was my very first month in Alaska and I knew absolutly nothing about wild game up here like Moose meat and fish and bear and so on. I had only been here from the midwest something like 20 days and it happened. Of course the situation inlife (I was going through made me welcome the isolation part as I was going through an emotionally rough time and just wanted to isolate as much as possible from everything and every one! So that part of it I LOVED! The food and heat situation got a little sticky there for a while and I learned A LOT that first winter up here.

Answer Man answers:

Why wasn’t your freezer full of salmon and wild game?

There is NEVER a reason to be without good food in Alaska – unless you don’t know how to skin a deer or smoke salmon.

Salmon & rice will keep you fed all winter. I bet that the only hysteria came from folks that weren’t born & raised in Alaska.

Safety Of The H1N1 Vaccine And Pregnancy

In recent years vaccines have taken a hit. It used to be that vaccines were trusted, no questions asked. It took vaccines to knock out Smallpox. Today, many people question the safety of vaccines, some attribute vaccines to the cause of Autism. The H1N1 vaccine has been met with skepticism, and it’s no wonder when you turn on the TV and see study after study with different conclusions. Most vaccines are safe and effective against the targeted disease, and stay the same, year after year. Not so with flu vaccines.

With flu vaccines, scientists have to guess what strains will be the dominant strain that season, then create a cocktail of dead viruses for that years vaccine. Sometimes they miss the strongest strain and that seasons vaccine is not as effective. Add to this, the flu viruses are always changing and mutating. The virus can change the shape of it’s receptors that allow it to link to the human cells and begin infection.

With H1N1, this is a new flu virus, or one that has been dormant for a long time, hence the higher immunity for people born before 1950. They must have had contact with this virus, or a similar one, at some time, and developed antibodies against it. The perception with the H1N1 vaccine is that it is a completely new vaccine, and that is true. It is also true that if the virus had been noticed earlier, it would have been included in the normal seasonal flu vaccine, and most people would have never known the difference. So, is this vaccine safe? That’s for you to decide, but consider the following. The vaccine is made in the exact same way the seasonal flu vaccine is made. As I stated earlier, it would have been included in the seasonal vaccine, if discovered in time for production. Since the vaccine is produced the same way as the seasonal vaccine, there are still people who should avoid it, especially people allergic to eggs.

One of the major worries about the H1N1 vaccine concerns pregnant women. A lot of pregnant women, and future fathers, are worried about the vaccines link to autism. While the jury is still out on the vaccine-autism link, there are things to consider. The H1N1 virus is deadly to pregnant women and their unborn child. You have to ask yourself, which would be worse, taking the vaccine and having a healthy pregnancy and child, with an extremely low chance of autism (if any), or the death of both the mother and child from H1N1 flu? Even if a pregnant woman catches the virus and lives through it, there are cases where the illness leads to severe mental birth defects in the child. These birth defects are much more severe than autism, and much more likely than vaccine related autism, to occur.

The decision is completely up to the mother, and should be. When making that decision, please weigh the facts above and consider which course of action has the best outcome.
