What radio transceiver would you choose if a disaster or terrorist attack hit and you had to leave your home. I have been looking at the YAESU VX-7R & YAESU VX-8R what do you think of these radio’s?

Answer Man answers:

I have a VX-7R and it’s great. Now that the VX-8R’s out I probably would have gone with it based on features alone, however it seems to me you’d be more interested in the ruggedness of the VX-7R. It’s a pretty solid built radio and can take abuse. They’re both submersible and maybe the VX-8r can take abuse too; time will tell. The VX-8r has built in APRS support which can be great in an emergency situation where an EOC needs to see where everyone assisting is located at any given time. The optional GPS puck maximizes this of course. VX8r has bluetooth capabilities which can be handy as a wireless hands free system.

Keep in mind that these radios only transmit on 6m/2m/1.25m/70cm which are all generally local communication bands. If you’re without a repeater or a satellite in view, you’re not going to be able to communicate a heck of a lot of distance, especially with the supplied antenna. They both can receive shortwave although the ferrite rod antenna built into the VX8 is better suited for this. Personally, I’d like to have an HF radio and easily deployed antenna for an emergency. The little HT’s are great for local emergency coordination but if things really hit the fan and you want a way to talk to the outside world, only an HF radio is going to cut it. A little FT-857 and a trolling motor battery and a roll of wire for an antenna would do wonders. An FT-817 is even more portable with an internal battery but limited to 5W. Something to think about.

Joseph asks…

Tell me if i have taken my civil defence preparedness to far because my friends are starting to call me weird?

I have bought over 5 years worth of M.R.E.’s and stored them in the underground fallout shelter i made, plus i have tons of survival gear hidden in secret caches in different secure area’s just in case i need emergency back ups for whatever situation should befall me, i put two underground concrete water tanks in with my fallout shelter, one is a water storage tank and the other is for gray water, i based my shelter on Utah shelter systems(tm) but i have done a few things differnt so as not to incur there wrath, people that know me say i’m going overboard this survival phase they call it, but i would rather be overprepared than underprepared.
I’m at over 1000 feet above sea level, and i do have an air lock in the decon room.
I don’t have guns in my shelter either but that doesn’t mean i can protect myself, i like big game hunting with a good bow and arrow rather than a loud rifle, cross bows and bow and arrows are good enough for me and i’m a very good shot to boot.

Answer Man answers:

I don’t need all that stuff. A “Gray” as we are called. We are smart, powerful, and dieing out. In the past we fought for racial purity, in doing so we took out genders no male no female just “Grays”. We find a new hope on a planet called earth. Creatures, sentient creatures at that who are amazingly alike to us. If we could harness enough DNA we could create a hybrid with genders!!! No more death… This is our last chance at life and we are willing to cause all-out war to obtain the right, the ability, and the need for survival. This document is classified and should not be exposed to mass amounts of creatures alien or human. Read, if you dare into the truth of the UFO phenomena or be lost in thought to explain it forever…..

Chapter one: Capture

I flew down to the earth. I was on a reconnaissance mission. I was to gather human reproductive organs and eggs/sperm so as to “test our theories on the new hybrid species of the Gray/Human species dubbed ‘Gray-Man’ and reproductive life-forms”. I t was a stormy night over Roswell, New Mexico. Me and my team were about to move in on the air force testing facility. We were closing in when my ship was struck by lightning alarms went off. An artificial voice said “Damage to propulsion systems. Damage to energy tank. Damage to landing gear. Damage to steering systems. Emergency landing recommended.” I thought over my options. If I didn’t land the humans would surly come and either steal our technology or kill us or both. If I did land we might be able to fight them off but the chance was slim. You see, our government made it illegal to harm humans unless we had no other option so we had to use primitive weapons that had to be loaded. I went to the intercom. “Shipmates we have been hit with a potentially fatal blast of electricity from Earths atmosphere. We are near a human installment. We must land and make repairs. I want all willing to risk their lives to save us all to come to my courters. Everyone else will immediately begin repairs on the ship. Make your peace with the lord for this could very well be your last night on earth or anywhere else….”
as the newly made warriors came I handed them our limited weaponry and sent them to victory or death.BANG. Another explosion shook our ship and the computer began telling us the new damage. Damage to all systems. Switching to emergency power. The lights flickered to conserve our precious energy. all the lights went out and the computer (on the intercom) told us the terrible news. Anti-gravity failure prepare for crash-landing. We were all going to die. I knelt down on my knees and prayed. After making my peace I turned and began shouting orders at my men. “ PUT THOSE GUNS ON SAFETY” I yelled at my men over the noise “BUT KEEP THEM READY WE MAY NEED THEM LATER” Then the computer told me the worst news I could hear and to this day I remember the most terrible sickening feeling any being could ever bear to hear. All energy has been drained good-bye and good luck. The computer said and powered down. There was a terrible bump and a flash and we crashed. As I crawled out of the wreckage I saw the devastation. All of my men were dead. Except for a few Gray-Men. I looked around. I saw some humans heavily armed running at us. They will kill us to see what we are and ask questions later. As one came in range of us he cocked his gun at me. I stepped out of the shadows and he saw me. He froze in shock then turned to his men and yelled. “Its a gray!!!” I looked at him, shocked. He knew about us. I pulled up a tranquilizer gun and fired at him and his men. When they were down I walked over and brought him to my ship. The Gray-Men stood there mouth agape. They had heard I was a sharp shooter but… I restrained them and waited for them to awake. They would be awake in thirty minutes or so. It had been no more than ten minutes when the first guy I shot woke up. He looked at me in disgust. I looked at him and noticed he wasn’t a human. His arms were to built and his face was to hard and defiant. He was a Man In Black. Some people say they are aliens others say they are robots but one thing was for sure hes was in league with the humans.

We weren’t going to get any answers from them.

I told the remaining crew the news. They knew what this meant. We decided to take our supplies that still worked with us leaving everything else behind. We weren’t worried that the humans could get new technology seeing as they have employed Men In Black. We had a meeting to decide what to do next. “I think, since they have MIB employees, that they have inter-galactic communicators if we could get in we could steal it or use it if it is to big” one of the Gray-men said “I think we should make contact…It would be the right thing to do” another said “What do you think captain?” “I…….I don’t know….I think we should go in and use the communicator but be careful bring weapons but

Answer Man answers:

I didn’t really like it and you had alot of misspelled wrods.
To collect sexual organs? Extra food and water.
Extra food means food that is not part of a planned meal or snack, food you do not expect to eat. So you won’t be tempted to eat it except in case of emergency, it probably should not be one of your favorites. It does not have to be a large quantity. It probably will not keep you from starving, but it might give you some comfort as well as a few calories to burn to keep you warm. One or two high-energy sports bars might be a good choice. Always carry a full liter of water, and keep it full. Refill at every water source. The next source may be a long way off. Always keep some iodine in your emergency kit (as long as you are not allergic to it) whether or not you travel with a filter in your pack.

2. Extra clothing.
This, too, is gear you do not expect to use. A polypropylene or wool sweater is fine. Even better is a small Mylar space blanket, the kind that comes folded up in a little cellophane package about 2 inches by 4 inches. Add a couple of 30-gallon trash bags, 2 or 3 millimeters thick if you can find them. These are extremely compact, weigh practically nothing, and can be tucked into your emergency kit and forgotten until needed. Garbage bags make good rain and wind protection. They can also be used for gathering food, insulating, as fire-making material, for forming part of a shelter, or for melting snow.

3. Map.
A topographic map is essential for any wilderness navigation. It also can be tucked inside your clothes for insulation or used to leave notes or directions addressed to potential rescuers.

4. Compass.
Be sure you know how to use both a map and compass or they won’t do you much good. If your compass is the type with a mirror, it can double as a signaling device.

5. Flashlight with Extra Batteries and Bulb.
A small AA-battery light is fine. Its most important use is for reading a map, and perhaps for signaling. You will probably find that if it is absolutely necessary to walk after dark, starlight alone provides enough light once your night vision adjusts and you are sure of your footing.

6. Sunglasses and sunscreen.
These might not be critical for wandering through the Eastern woods, but they are absolutely essential for survival in deserts, on snow, or in high mountains above timberline where the atmosphere is thin. Sunburn can lead to severe dehydration. The same conditions can cause snow blindness, a particularly painful, though usually temporary, condition that can occur within less than an hour’s exposure, though the symptoms may not show up until eight hours later.

7. Matches in a waterproof container.
The wooden strike-anywhere variety is best. Just be sure to store them in such a way that they cannot rub against one another and light themselves. An airtight pill bottle or film canister will keep both oxygen and water out.

8. Fire starter or candle.
In rain or wind a match will not stay lit long enough to ignite damp tinder. A candle, or even a small piece of candle at least a half-inch in diameter will give a more lasting flame. Better yet is fire starter, available at outfitting stores in several forms, from tablets or small blocks of paraffin or other flammable material to a gel that squeezes from a tube.

9. Pocket knife or utility tool.
One simple blade will do, though the models with scissors, saws, tweezers, screwdrivers, and other utility tools are handy for preparing tinder, preparing food, first aid, equipment repair, and almost any other task you can imagine.

10. First-aid kit.
Your kit should include a few alcohol swabs or moist towelettes, antibiotic ointment, aspirin or ibuprofen, Band-Aids, small tweezers, and scissors. Also include whatever prescription drugs you take regularly. If you travel alone or carry the main kit for a group, take a more elaborate kit. See Wilderness First Aid by Gilbert Preston (Falcon, 1997) for a thorough discussion of wilderness first-aid kits.

Answer Man answers:

Easy answer to your question is yes… your list is true. BUT, the reality of carrying all of that is in fact, difficult to impossible in a true survival situation. My philosophy is that everything that you carry to “be prepared” needs to have a multiple use, if it doesn’t it is not necessary for true survival. You would be surprised as to what you actually NEED.

I love this topic of being “prepared” and in my free time I write stuff like below. Read on if you have the time or interest. I am an experienced long distance hiker and just recently completed a 900 mile hike.

Everyone will give you their opinion on whether these items you list are true. Remember it is their OPINION. SO with that said here is my opinion…….First off you cant prepare for the worst. You can try and be prepared, but when it comes down to the question of wilderness survival, the top ten things you need to bring with you is KNOWLEDGE. Each case of being in the Wilderness is different, like if you have put yourself into the wilderness such as a hike or if your plane goes down in the forest somewhere. Knowledge can save you, especially something that you have practiced.

If you are planning a hike, putting yourself into the wilderness, you will want to have an extra day or two of food and the knowledge to find food in the wilderness. Also some string to make a snare to capture food.

Water… of course, but iodine is not the best choice, there are other options like Aqua Mira. This has no bad taste and can kill more of the bad stuff in the water, also is fast to treat. On long hikes, I carry more than a liter, in warm weather I carry 2- 1L Gatoraid bottles because they are light, and in cold I carry a 1L Nalgene for hot liquids. A hydration pack is the best choice, make sure it is lightweight.

Extra clothing is necessary, but it must be light as possible, if it is heavy you will be tempted to leave it behind. Wool is not a good option for EXTRA clothing, its heavy. If you have the $$ buy high tech clothing. Remember that you can layer and a rain jacket is great because you can “BAKE” yourself dry by trapping your body heat. Garbage bags are excellent but try and find a bigger 50 gallon yard waste type carry two. They really don’t have much in the insulation department. Mylar can save your life in hypothermia situations.

Maps are important, if you have an idea of where you are. Simple knowledge of sun navigation is great knowledge. I carry a topo map and try and have some knowledge of service roads and such. In an emergency, a map can become some insulation.

Compass ….carry one.

Flashlight should be LED type. I carry Petzel headlamp with extra batteries and a small LED keychain backup. LED lamps are lighter and most are waterproof and can last 10,000 hours.. Bulb lamps burn out, are heavy and you have to hold them in your hands, which can be difficult to work with.

Sunglasses are personal choice but sunscreen can be left behind. It can be heavy and messy. You can use mud to keep the sun off your skin if available.

Matches are not a good option, even if they are the so called waterproof kind. You may carry something like 3 strike anywhere, but no more. They are unreliable, fragile, and limited. You should carry a large “BIC” lighter and have the knowledge to start a fire using sticks, and using the BIC lighter’s flint striker, when out of gas, to start a fire with tinder or the lint balls from your socks. If you expect to survive in the wilderness you need to be an expert in starting a fire without the use of paper. Don’t depend on firestarters to start your fire, but you may still want to carry a tea-light candle.

Knife- a pocket knife is essential make sure it is a quality one, with a good sharp blade. Try and avoid the serrated blade, they are not good for carving wood and precision. Multi tools are good for anything, in my opinion, that may arise but a survivalist would prefer a hunting knife. A multi tool that is the small type, not the cheap ones but the $40 Leatherman is excellent. Remember that you will have to carry all this and even an ounce over the length of a day becomes heavy and with a lack of food you wont have the energy to carry a heavy tool/knife.

First-aid kit if you want to carry it all. I have found that Duct tape is the best barebones kit out there. Antibiotic cream in small one or two use packets is good also, can be used for firestarter, some types. It will do just about anything. It is a multi task must, even more than just first-aid.

Powered by Yahoo! Should I get the plants already started and plant them in the pots, or should I get seeds and plant them in the pots? What about those herb growing kits that come with the seeds that are in these little peat moss pellets? Also, if I want organic herbs does that mean I need to buy organic herb seed or organic herb plant, or will it be organic either way as long as I’m not using chemicals? Thanks! Obviously inexperienced over here…

Answer Man answers:

That depends upon whether you are good at seed starting. If you enjoy gardening and like to watch the development, seeds are the way to go. If you are rather in a hurry and not too gardening savvy, you will want to go with the starts. I love to plant, and there is only one way to get started: just do it!

If you do not want many herbs, however, you may just want to buy a start or two; depending upon the herb.

Organic means there were no chemicals used on the seed and that they were harvested and grown naturally. You can buy organic seed; most of the ones in the stores are not. Some are, so read the packet.

I would avoid peat pots and peat in general. It is running out and soil and pots are great anyway. We do not want to deplete the earth too quickly!

Seeds of Change has great organic seeds. You pay a bit more for them, but of course it is environmentally desirable to use them.

Laura asks…

Is it okay to buy any kind of herb seeds to plant?

I want to start a little indoor herb “garden”. I notice that at places like gardening stores, the seed packets of herbs are really cheap. Can I trust those seeds will work? They have 3-5 pots, all the right size, some with peat pellets that you just water and they expand. No need to buy soil. And many have some sort of a plastic top that acts as a greenhouse for the seeds, promoting growth. The only down side is that THEY pick the types of herbs you’ll grow. If you like the idea of everything all in one, buy a kit. If you don’t like their assortment of herbs, you can always buy a pk or two of seeds to replace theirs.

Lizzie asks…

What do I do wrong by grewing herbs at home?

Well , a week ago I purchase an herb kit. I followed the directions.
First, I poured warm water in a bowel. Than I put the pellets of soil in them to make them grow and rise. Than I put them into the clay pots that came with the kit. Put the seeds in. Every day following the instruction, I have than sprayed water every other day. Still have not seen anything go up.
So why is it that in the cooking shows they alway’s have these healthy looking growing herbs in their pods?

Answer Man answers:

To grow herbs successfully indoors you will need to provide for their needs of light, warmth, water, humidity and nutrients. Be sure to provide them with plenty of elbow room. Herbs hate to be grown where they have to compete for light and air. Here are the basics.

Light Herbs needs lots of light to do well indoors. You will need to provide a minimum of 12 hours of strong light each day. Indoors in winter in Minnesota, this will require supplementing the available natural light. Fluorescent lights are the best for the job, providing the most light over the largest area for the least money.

Temperatures Herbs will grow well in cool to average room temperatures. If possible, keep the room 10º cooler at night.

Air Circulation Plants indoors in the winter often suffer from stale air. You can ensure good air circulation with those little personal fans they sell in the housewares departments. You don’t want to create a wind, but it is important that fresh air be circulated through the area on a daily basis.

Water/Humidity Most herbs prefer to stay evenly moist and are sensitive to over watering or soggy soils. Check them daily by pressing on the surface of the soil. If you can still feel moisture, leave it alone. It is better to run them a little dry than too wet. Rosemary is the exception. It can be easily damaged if it is allowed to dry out. At the same time, it hates to stay wet. Ideally, rosemary should grow in soil with excellent drainage so that you can water daily without fear of the soil becoming soggy.

Where While you can grow herbs anywhere you grow plants, most kitchens are ideal because they are usually more humid and lighter than other rooms indoors. If you don’t have a sunny kitchen window, consider placing your plants beneath an under-the-cabinet light.

Containers and Soil Any container with adequate drainage can be used for herbs. Clay pots give off moisture through the sides of the containers, allowing the soil to dry out more quickly. This can be an advantage, or disadvantage, depending on your soil and watering habits. Herbs need a well-drained potting soil that is high in organic matter. A mixture that is 2/3 quality potting soil and 1/3 sand is good for most herbs. When growing rosemary, make it a 50/50 mixture

Fertilizing For a more intense flavor, keep your herbs a little hungry. When you do fertilize, use a water soluble plant food at half strength.

Grooming and Pruning All indoor herbs will need occasional grooming to clean up any yellowing leaves, especially later in the winter. Once every month or so, place the plants in the shower or sink and rinse them off to remove any dust build up.

Insects and Diseases Herbs aren’t any more or less likely to have problems indoors than any other plants. When dealing with pests on edible plants, be sure to use products such as Safer’s Insecticidal Soap or Schultz’s Instant Houseplant Spray.

Harvesting/Using Culinary herbs should be pinched often to encourage new growth. To pinch, snip off the growing ends of branches and remove any bare stems down to their source. You can use what you have pinched fresh or it can be dried or frozen.

Herbs Most Suitable for Growing Indoors
Bay
Chives
Garlic Chives
Marjoram
Mint
Oregano
Parsley
Rosemary
Sage
Scented Geraniums
Winter Savory

Herbs That Are Challenging* to Grow Indoors

Basil
Coriander/Cilantro
Dill
Ginger
Lemon Verbena
Thyme

Daniel asks…

Please help me save my herb seedlings!?

I’m a first time container gardener in a condo and started some herb seeds in a Burpee kit several weeks ago (basil, dill, sage, mint, rosemary, & thyme). The country was subject to economic sanction by the US and the EC due to human rights violation and electoral fraud. The confiscation of the farmland caused a sharp decline in agriculture. The country had to depend only on mining and tourism. That caused a severe shortage of hard currency that led to hyperinflation and a chronic shortages in imported goods and fuel. Moreover, HIV/AIDs has spread throughout the country. The life expectancy declined sharply.

George asks…

WHY is there hyperinflation in Zimbabwe? Another cause is that Mugabe broke up working farms and distributed small parcels to poor farmers without training them on how to farm, so the agricultural industry was destroyed.

They tried revaluing the currency a couple years ago, and it didn’t do anything, because it doesn’t attack the source of the problem, which is that too much money is being printed.

The solution would be not only to control the printing of money, but also to implement comprehensive economic reform, which I don’t think is possible as long as Mugabe is in power, since he seems to be concerned only with keeping himself in power at all costs.

Joseph asks…

Why is there hyperinflation in Zimbabwe?

My assuption is that the government is covering expenses by just printing more money but I don’t find that statment anywhere.

Answer Man answers:

Mugabe and his cronies are running the printing presses non-stop trying to keep themselves in power. Shortly before the presidential election, all members of the military got substantial bonuses. Ditto all government employees. Teachers got a smaller raise (because they are seen as opposition). Two days after all these bonuses were doled out, the prices on nearly everything at least doubled.
Mugabe’s response has been printing ever larger quantities of money (A Z$50,000,000 banknote was introduced last week. At the current free market exchange rate, that is US$0.60).
You can read much more at the link below – reasonably up to date news form a range of sources on the current situation in Zimbabwe:

http://allafrica.com/zimbabwe/

Thomas asks…

Do you know anything about reports related to hyperinflation in Zimbabwe?

I have checked it out on wikipedia but i didnt understand the tough economic language
so could you please tell me in simplified way?
whats the real matter?
There it was written as 4 US dollar equals to 10 million zimbabwian dollar.
thanking you in advance.
tell me please

Answer Man answers:

The Zim dollar no longer exists in Zimbabwe, they use the US$, the South African Rand and the Botswana Pula. It’s a long story and I could go on, but I think you can get the drift. I need help

Answer Man answers:

You won’t find one article that summarizes the entire scope of what you’re looking for. If you read this, you’ll understand substantially better how the world works and by what mechanism it is going to change governments every where. Show me a nation with a runaway inflation problem and I’ll show you a nation with a bank related problem. Zimbabwe is no exception there. It is in fact a perfect example. International bankers the world ’round seem hell bent on demolishing the nations in which they practice their trade, which should be illegal. In essence, what they do is show up on the scene, take over all minting, charge interest on the money they print, print money to pay themselves, charge interest on that, print more money to pay themselves the interest, charge the nation in question interest on that money, and it doesn’t end until they control every thing of actual wealth. In the United States, we rebelled against England largely because their centralized bank wouldn’t allow us to utilize foreign currencies – which is PRECISELY what’s been happening in Zimbabwe. The world bank coerced the government there to make it illegal for the average person to conduct business with foreign currencies unless they had a special license. After a century or so without a centralized bank, one snuck in to the U.S.

I think Andrew Jackson ran for presidency a second time specifically to destroy the centralized bank then, because… Well, it was evil. Even if Andy was a genocidal racist, he did a great thing in destroying the centralized bank. It was such a proud achievement – and he knew it – that he had engraved on his tombstone the phrase, “I beat the bank.”

Some 50 years later, the U.S. Citizens ignorantly allowed it to form again. Centralized banks appear to follow a formulaic process that begins with devaluing their dollars slowly until they can be pulled from metal standards and fixed to thin air. Shortly after, the U.S. Government (to make life more convenient for the centralized bank) made it illegal for its citizens to own gold. (Yes, ILLEGAL) The gold was all accumulated by the government. Unfortunately, our government has become head over heels in debt towards the Fed Res because they’ve printed money galore. What our bank did was take the bulk of its early earnings and use those to buy federal bonds. When those bonds matured, the banks sold them back to the government. The government needed money to pay out those bonds, so they asked the Fed Res to print more money… Which caused the government to owe the banks even more money. The Fed Res turned 10 million dollars in to 10 billion this way over about 10 years. But it’s not over yet. Once the government is in debt, it needs to eventually pay back the Fed Res. But every time it pays them back in Fed Res money, it goes further in debt. So they eventually have to pay them off with (dun, dun, dun!) ALL OF YOUR NATION’S GOLD!

More recently, centralized banks have exhibited an interesting habit of admitting they were wrong about the various choices they’ve made over the years. Gideon Gono, who heads Zimbabwe’s centralized bank, has stood up and admitted they made massive mistakes. Alan Greenspan did the same thing. Both of these men basically stood up and said, “Yes. The institution in question obliterated my nation’s chances at being a nation in 500 years.” They then go on to behave as if this were an accident of some sort, when the truth is that it’s the result of decades worth of 100% intentionally planned and crafted decisions that have been commented upon and criticized by respected economists the world over who told these centralized banks every step of the way that they were leading their nations down a long road paved with failure ending in Failville, populated by failbuses ridden by failures.

In essence, the cause of Zimbabwe’s hyperinflation was the exceptionally greedy World bank. A lot of people who benefit from the exceptionally greedy World bank will claim that Zimbabwe’s hyperinflation was caused by Zimbabwe, but that’s complete garbage.

The last link is probably your best bet if you only can use one article, or are disinterested in understanding this terrible crime against Zimbabwe with greater detail.

Powered by Yahoo! However, the facts are these:

When President Clinton was president his terms was characterized by economic prosperity and financial deregulation, which in many ways set the stage for the excesses of recent years. Among his biggest strokes of free-wheeling capitalism was the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, which repealed the Glass-Steagall Act, a cornerstone of Depression-era regulation. The repeal enabled commercial lenders such as Citigroup, which was in 1999 then the largest U.S. bank by assets, to underwrite and trade instruments such as mortgage-backed securities and collateralized debt obligations and establish so-called structured investment vehicles, or SIVs, that bought those securities. It is therefore seen that the repeal of this act is directly responsible for the Global financial crisis.

That was not enough for former President Cliinton. He also signed the Commodity Futures Modernization Act, which exempted credit-default swaps from regulation. The Commodity Futures Modernization Act of 2000 has received criticism for the so-called “Enron loophole,” which exempts most over-the-counter energy trades and trading on electronic energy commodity markets. This was one of the big reasons for the collapse of Enron.

Not convinnced yet? In 1995 Clinton loosened housing rules by rewriting the Community Reinvestment Act, which put added pressure on banks to lend in low-income neighborhoods. All these rules changes played a role in creating a permissive lending environment. This in turn led to more loans being given to people who really could not afford them, leading to defaults today.

After all of this, do you believe our former president when he says to the media, “I am not a fault for any of this financial mess? Do you believe if my economic team was in place that any of this would have happened?”

My answer is yes I do – after reading about all the things he did in great detail, I put part of the blame squarely on his broad shoulders. To deny he had nothing to do with it seems like he is trying to rewrite history. What do you think?
Hmm. The surplus has nothing to do with the current situation. How does that figure into this quesstion?

True, anything can be overridden – but how does that absolve Clinton for pushing these ideas in the first place?

Although Clinton is not formerly campaigning, he is making repeated statements (three in the last two days) stating he has NOTHING to do with the economic downturn. If this is not campaigning for his reputation history, what is it then? Just random statements?

Answer Man answers:

I concur that President Clinton has some responsibility for the current financial crisis. The Commodity Futures Modernization Act, and the repeal of Glass-Steagall were bad choices.

I will take issue with Community Reinvestment Act. Nothing in the act required lenders to give up their underwriting standards. Moreover, the vast boom in subprime loans and problems occured post 2002. If CRA was the proximate cause, it would have happened earlier.

I will also fault Clinton for retaining Alan Greenspan. The financial crisis has many origins – among consumers, among banks, and in government. But Greenspan kept rates low, and financial institutions sought any sort of instrument that would pay more than the low interest rates. This created an enormous market for mortgage-backed securities. Nobody cared about loan underwriting any more, since it would be immediately sold to some investor somewhere.

While many, many people are to blame, I put Greenspan as the most culpable.

Ruth asks…

Isn’t Each Step that we Take To Energy Independence a Way of Fighting Al Qaida, The Taliban, and Muslim Power?

If we did not need any oil from the Middle East would we need such a big presence there?

If we spent our next $Trillion on domestic oil production, including ANWR, and domestic Gas production, including hydrogen and hythane, and Solar and Wind and Geothermal, wouldn’t that be more efficient than spending it on DOD so we can have a huge footprint in the Middle East, and in Afghan/Pakis?

Money spent of high quality research and production is a true investment. Money pumped into DOD for big gunboats and big boots on the ground, never comes back, never pays off any didvidends for the American people.

Energy Independence is a worthy national objective like the National Parks System of the 1920′s, the National Highway System of the 1950′s, and the Space Program of the 1960′s and 1970′s.

It is a Megaproject, but one that would pay off — bigtime.

It’s not money down a rathole.

Our goal with Islamist Extremists is to make them irrelevant. We are never going to win their hearts and minds. They will never be enlightened — by us. They may reach Enlightenment, in the next 1000 years or so because information wants to be free and because reason is a force unto itself, but we can’t build any nations, or save any, and we sure can’t build any cultures or reform any.

So they are going to hate us and want to kill us, at least for the next few centuries.

What we need to do is make them irrelevant.

That means we are not there, and they are not here.

If we insist on making a huge globalist cocktail of the entire world because we are addicted to oil that is under their lands, then our lives and treasure just go into our gas tanks and get burned up to cause more global warming.

If we live independently and within our own resources, then generations of young men and women can produce goods and services in America, and DOD can be right sized down to about 35% of its present size. This does not include a needed build up of NSA and NRO and our military satellites program. If all that is lumped in with DOD, then the net right sizing would be down to about 50% of its present size, which means we only save about $500 Billion per year — but that would be $5 Trillion over 10 years — starts to sound like real money — your money by the way, and that of your kids and grandkids.

Better to invest it and pull in our horns overseas than to squander it and be a global paper tiger that brings democracy nowhere, that builds nations nowhere, that gets eaten by everyone. that eats no one, that creates more foes than it kills every day, week, month, and year, and that is tipping on the brink of national insolvency and economic collapse. You may have noticed a Recession. Get used to it. The oil market is global. All purchases outside of USA ANYWHERE affect the price everywhere. When we buy oil from Venezuela, Canada, Mexico, etc it raises the price at which Middle Eastern oil can be sold in the Balkans and in Europe and to China. All extra-territorial purchases affect the global price (and our balance of payments). My point is a tanker from Venezuela to USA puts cash in the pockets of Arabs in Arabia. Drop that purchase out of the system, and that tanker could go anywhere, maybe France or England or China. The more tankers that compete with Middle East oil for customers, the lower the price paid to Moslems in Arabia, and Iran, and Iraq.

The less money they have the less Semtex they can buy. The less of us they see, the less they want to use their Semtex on us, and create children-murder-bombers to do it.

If they never get to come here — it’s hard for them to hate what they don’t see.
To Groucho M

Pat Buchanan says it just like you do. They were all there on the Mayflower with us, right? And in Constitution Hall, right, you remember all the Iraqis and Taliban and Pashtuns hanging around in the back, they are in the painting, right?

No, not right!

So we have no reason to think that the world wants or will ever be amenable to our Projection of Cultural Ideology Overseas.

We are never going to bring Democracy to anybody. Rockwell, Jr.

When Eastern Europe broke free in 1989, we all realized just how little thought had been given to the transition from socialism to capitalism. Mises had told us the collapse was coming, and we should have been prepared.
As America comes to resemble a command economy, we need a transition plan here too. Yuri Maltsev proposed a “One-Day Plan” for the U. S. S. R. We’re not in that bad a shape (yet), so we could do it in 30 days.
DAY ONE: The federal income tax is abolished and April 15th is declared a national holiday. The 40% reduction in federal revenues is matched by a 40% cut in spending. The budget is still almost twice as big as Jimmy Carter’s.
DAY TWO: All other federal taxes are abolished, including the corporate income tax, the capital gains tax, the gasoline tax, “sin” taxes, excise taxes, etc. Businesses boom, and the few legitimate federal functions are funded with an inexpensive head tax. People who choose not to vote need not pay it. (Note: this was a mainstream view in the 19th century.)
DAY THREE: The federal government sells all its land, freeing up tens of millions of acres for development, mining, farming, forestry, oil drilling, private parks, etc. The government uses the revenue to pay off the national debt and other liabilities.
DAY FOUR: The minimum wage is reduced to zero, creating jobs for ex-federal bureaucrats at their market wage. All pro-union laws and regulations are scrapped. The jobless rate falls dramatically.
DAY FIVE: The Bureau of Labor Statistics, like the rest of the Labor Department, is sent to that big hiring hall in the sky. Without detailed economic statistics, future economic planners will be blind and deaf.
DAY SIX: The Department of Commerce is abolished. Big business has to make its own way in the world, without subsidies and privileges at the expense of its competitors and customers.
DAY SEVEN: The plug is pulled on the Department of Energy. Oil and gas prices plummet.
DAY EIGHT: All regulatory agencies, from the Interstate Commerce Commission to the Federal Trade Commission, are deep-sixed. Competition is legalized.
DAY NINE: HUD is squashed like a bug. There’s a buiding boom in cheap, private, apartments.
DAY TEN: The interstate highways reopen as private businesses. Road entrepreneurs price travel according to consumer demand. Using modern technology, drivers get bills once a month. Credit risks-and drunks and dangerous drivers- aren’t allowed on the road. Non-drivers no longer subsidize car owners.
DAY ELEVEN: Government welfare is wiped out. Bums work or starve. The deserving poor find a cornucopia of private services designed to make them independent. Private charity explodes, as the American people, already the most generous in the world, find their incomes almost doubled, thanks to the tax cuts.
DAY TWELVE: The Federal Reserve closes its open-market operations and stops protecting the banking industry from competition. But banks can now engage in all the non-bank financial activities previously forbidden to them. The business cycle, which is caused by monetary expansion through the credit markets, is liquidated.
DAY THIRTEEN: Federal deposit insurance is scrapped. All insured deposits are redeemed from federal assets, which include the personal assets of high-level government employees. The threat of bank runs forces banks to keep 100% reserves for their demand deposits, and prudent reserves on all other accounts. There are no more inherently bankrupt banks propped up by the government, at taxpayer expense, and no more bail outs.
DAY FOURTEEN: The shaky fiat dollar is defined in terms of gold, with the ratio determined by dividing the government’s gold stock by all existing dollars on that day.
DAY FIFTEEN: The federal government sells National and Dulles airports to the highest bidder, and stops all subsidies to other socialist airports around the country. All constraints on airline prices and service cease. It costs more to fly during peak hours than off-peak, but overall, air travel drops in price.
DAY SIXTEEN: All government regulations that create and sustain cartels are abolished, including those for the post office, telephones, television, radio, and cable TV Prices plummet, and a host of new and unforeseen services becomes available.
DAY SEVENTEEN: Centrally planned agriculture, as imposed by Hoover and Roosevelt, is repealed: there are no more subsidies, payments-in-kind, marketing orders, low-interest loans, etc. Farm prices drop. Entrepreneurial farmers get rich. Welfare farmers go into another line of work. The poor eat like kings.
DAY EIGHTEEN: The Justice Department shutters its anti-trust division. Companies, big and small, are free to merge – up, down, or sideways. Stockholders can buy any other company, or sell their stock to anyone else. Marginal producers can no longer battle their competitors with bureaucratic weapons.
DAY NINETEEN: The Department of Education flunks the constitutionality test, and is kicked out. Private charities set up remedial reading and writing programs for the former bureaucrats. Federally subsidized sex education and other anti-family programs go out of business. Local school districts become responsive to parents or close, pressured by a fast-growing private school sector (which many more parents can now afford).
DAY TWENTY: All federal monuments are sold, in some cases to non-profit groups based on the Mt. Vernon Ladies Association, which owns and runs George Washington’s home. The VFW buys the Vietnam memorial. There is much bidding for the Jefferson and Washington monuments. Nobody wants FDR’s, so it’s torn down and the land sold to a farmer. (With the federal government cut back to its constitutional size, much of Washington reverts to productive uses like agriculture, as in late 18th century.)
DAY TWENTY-ONE: The computerized financial and political dossier maintained by the government on every American is erased. The public wanders through the federal offices to make sure, in a reprise of the East Berliners’ visits to Stasi headquarters.
DAY TWENTY-TWO: Equal rights are granted to all Americans, even members of non-victim groups. There is no affirmative action, no quotas, no set-asides, no public accommodations laws. Private property and freedom of association are fully restored.
DAY TWENTY-THREE: The EPA is cleaned out, with all “clean air” and similar big-government laws repealed. Ten thousand lawyers leap from their balconies. Private property is established in air and water. Americans harmed by pollution are free to sue the polluters, who are no longer protected by the federal government.
DAY TWENTY-FOUR: Americans are given complete freedom of contract, restoring rationality to malpractice and product liability law.
DAY TWENTY-FIVE: Government scrambles for more assets to sell (i.e., the National Zoo, also known as Washington, D.C.) to pay off the liabilities of the privatized Social Security system.
DAY TWENTY-SIX: Porno artists have to earn their own livings, as the National Endowment for the Arts tries to raise its budget through sidewalk painting sales.
DAY TWENTY-SEVEN: Foreign aid is outlawed as unconstitutional, unjust, and un-economic. Foreign politicians have to steal their own money. The World Bank, IMF, and United Nations close their super- luxurious doors.
DAY TWENTY-EIGHT: The American people are given the unrestricted right to keep and bear arms.
DAY TWENTY-NINE: The Defense Department is reoriented towards defense. American troops come home from all around the world. We adopt a policy of armed neutrality, remembering the Founding Fathers’ teaching that we could not have an empire abroad and a constitutional republic at home.
DAY THIRTY: All tariffs, quotas, and trade agreements are put through the shredder. Americans can trade with anyone in the world, without barriers or subsidies. Japanese car prices drop an immediate 25%.
In just 30 exhilarating days, we have established the outlines of free market. Radical? Maybe so. Me, I can’t wait until Month Two.
__________
Llewellyn H. Rockwell, Jr., is president of the Mises Institute and editor of LewRockwell.com. rockwell@mises.org. Castañeda: It could prove to be a key factor in helping the U.S. move out of the current financial crisis.

“The U.S. is seeking a reorientation of its manufacturing base, and it’s not easy to do without cheaper labor and the Mexican industrial base,” he said Wednesday.

Castañeda will head to North Texas next week to talk at the University of Texas at Arlington about his latest book, Ex Mex: From Migrants to Immigrants, and about the mutual need in the U.S. and Mexico for immigration reform. He will deliver this year’s Center for Mexican American Studies Distinguished Lecture at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the UTA library.

Castañeda remains bullish about the prospects of enacting immigration reform sometime during President Barack Obama’s administration, despite all the heated and polarizing rhetoric surrounding the issue.

“I don’t put much stock in those [anti-immigration] voices,” he said. “Obama wouldn’t have been elected and health care reform wouldn’t have passed if they were the majority.”

He believes immigration reform is a crucial component not only in reviving our economy, but also in creating a North American community, similar to the European Union.

It’s not a new idea – former Mexican President Vicente Fox mentioned the idea of a free flow of labor and trade on a visit to Dallas in 2000. And the U.S. Council on Foreign Relations issued a trinational report in 2005 in which it proposed the creation of a North American community involving the U.S., Mexico and Canada for enhanced security and prosperity.

Castañeda’s vision for this broader relationship goes beyond the North American Free Trade Agreement and involves a free flow of labor and energy, security provisions, integration of currencies, and greater social cohesion.

“NAFTA has run out of steam, and it is not generating jobs in Mexico,” he said. “The U.S. and Mexico are further apart in economic development today, and the gap is getting bigger. We cannot leave it to the market alone to solve our issues.”

The relationship with Mexico is a lot deeper already than many realize. Castañeda has noted that one in nine Mexicans lives in the U.S. today, and therefore suggests that Mexico can no longer be viewed solely as a Latin American country.

Roger Meiners, an economics and law professor at UTA, said the U.S. and Mexico have been actively talking about a follow-up to NAFTA for years. Former President George W. Bush and Fox were in talks shortly before 9/11, when everything was derailed.

But “opening up the borders for more trade makes sense,” Castañeda said. “Increased economic activity would benefit the U.S., and all levels of income would rise, on both sides of the border.”

It would be to our advantage to expand NAFTA, he said.

“You don’t want an unstable country on your border.”

http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/dn/localnews/columnists/molivera/stories/DN-olivera_10met.ART.State.Edition1.4cd41a6.html

Answer Man answers:

So now the theory is, illegal mexicans with at best a 3rd grade education will save the united states. And I have heard other people say they have seen them in other places too.
First, I am by no means a conspiracy theorist, nor do I have any plans to be. However, I do try to be a logical thinker. There are some conspiracy theories that I find to be downright silly, and others that I find to be very, very plausible.
As far as these ‘plastic coffins’ or ‘vaults’ (which ever is the correct term) is concerned, some say that they are going to be used as quick and cheap disposal devices after a disease/biological weapon/nuke etc, is unleashed and wrecks havok on ‘us’. Supposedly they are a better option than mass graves since biological agents and/or radio active materials can still pollute the surronding areas, so these ‘vaults’ or ‘coffins’ will be used..again in theory. Interestingly enough, there are FEMA/goverment documents that reccomend this instead of mass graves. As a side note – FEMA is NOT just an emergency disaster relief agency, under certain emergency situations or Martial Law, FEMA has the power to do just about anything include suspend constitutional rights. Who knew?

Then others say, they are simply the property of a company that makes them like the ‘vantage plastic corp.’ (if I remember correctly). And these are required in some states to prevent damage to the actual coffins and to help keep them in place in flood conditions. Hence they have been mass produced and kept in stock on ‘pre-sale’ status. Which does also make sense to a certain degree since the same thing basically happens in the automobile industry (car dealership for example). Others say that they are infact to be used by the government, but only as preparation for any possible future events that would produce large amounts of victims, who would thereby be buried and/or cremated to protect further advancement of a biological agent.

Here’s what I think: On one hand, I think it is more logical to conclude that these are simply the products of the company that makes them, since they are on its property….or atleast near the company (Covington, GA). Also I see no direct connection linking this company to FEMA, or any other government organization. It would not make sense for the government to buy ANYTHING and not keep it under tight lock and key, regardless of what it is. Furthermore, there is no way to accurately say there is 500,000 of them without actually counting them, or having access to company documents. The video I saw does without a doubt show a LARGE amount of them, but its presumptious to say its 500,000 just because it appears that it ‘could be’ that many. And even if it was that number, that would still correspond to the number possibly needed considering the amount people who die each year in the US….more than 500,000.

However on the other hand, it makes no sense to me that all of these things (regardless of how many) have just been sitting there supposedly for years and years as stock….? Sure, people are always dying, but to pre-make thousands of them the exact same color and type (on the website they are several different types and colors) and just let them sit for years and years outside in the sun and rain…even hail and exposing them to possible vandalism and theft? That does not seem like good buisness sense to me. If I was a client (for example family member of a deceased person) I would not want an ‘old and weathered coffin’ regardless of the fact that its going in the ground…I would want a brand spanking new one for my family member!…the ONLY way I would accept an old and weathered one is if I didn’t really care about who or what is going in it. Furthermore, from what I understand more funeral homes use the cement kind, not the plastic ones….I imagine because they don’t float. But then again there are alot of funeral homes…so that point may or may not be significant. Also these things (atleast the ones in GA) have been there for years (supposedly 10) and have not been moved or shifted or replaced, which indicates or atleast implies that they are not ‘stock’, or that they are not being sold, since most ‘stock’ items are ordered, sold and then replaced by newer ones thus replenishing the ‘stock’….no? Again, its just like a Car Dealership. And normally where these things are being found, there is always a bunch of secrecy or slow answers pertaining to them….which of course only arouses suspicion be it well founded or not.

Now it could just be simple government greediness, you know a case where ‘Governor Greedy’ gives a government contract to his little brother who just so happens to buids plastic vaults, who sells them to ‘the government’ even though in reality they go nowhere and end up on a vacant plot of land in rural GA, while he and his brother count the profits. But I would not be suprised if it were something more sinister.

Answer Man answers:

Brother, Fema has ‘camps’ all over the u.s not for disaster relief as they may want people to beilve. I have been without medical insurance for almost 3 years and have to pay out of pocket for a required medication costing roughly $200 per month. I have moved back into my mother’s house (I’m 26) and I am overdrawn on my bank accounts every week just from paying off my car, my storage (I moved home from another state since I could no longer afford rent,) my medicine, groceries, and then attempting to make payments on my debt. I have spoken with a credit counseling organization (MMI) and they have offered me a plan by which I would pay them about $600 per month. This plan would entail $600 per month for debt payment, $485 for car payment, $125 for my student loan, $200 for medicine and $285 for storage of all of my possessions. This is $1695 per month. It does not include food. It does not include emergency preparation. And it is also $400 over my monthly income.

Issue #1: I need a new job. On average, I apply for 20-30 jobs PER DAY. I have been told that, since the economy went bust, EVERYONE checks the credit of a potential employee. Obviously my current poor credit is enough to render me unhireable. If I declare bankruptcy, how much worse can (will?) my job hunting situation be? I currently temp at a front desk for just 30 hrs a week, no benefits.

Issue #2: I need to be able to move out of my mother’s house. She is very kind to have opened her home to me when I am in such need, and I try very hard to stay out of her way, but she makes it very clear that it’s a huge burden on her to have me around (I know she is right, but it makes it no easier). She is also 100% against me declaring bankruptcy, not only for the impact it will have on my life but for the stigma it will bear on hers. I need to be able to have my own place again. But, my current credit is so poor AND declaring bankruptcy would remain for 10 years on my credit report, that no one would possibly rent to me. Which is less devastating to a potential landlord? Terrible credit and a ridiculous debt-to-income ratio, or a recent bankruptcy claim?

Issue #3: My car is currently worth about $9k less than what I still owe. I have tried to sell it back to the dealership, they charged me $5k and even when I left the car with them, they immediately called me back to pick it up because apparently something in the undercarriage was repaired wrong (oh and getting my $5k back was a real hoot, let me tell you.) It has already been repo-ed once and I had to pay money I didn’t have to get it back. I have tried selling in private forums, I have tried refinancing, I don’t know what else I can do. No one will buy a car worth almost ten grand less than they’re paying. I want very much to keep it, but I can’t afford it. And yes, simply letting it go would COST ME MONEY. Dave Ramsay says, “sell the car.” What would Dave Ramsay suggest in this situation?

Issue #4: I have no savings. If I declare bankruptcy, I will be living off of my income alone (my savings deteriorated during my time when I was unemployed, after which my debt increased exponentially. HOWEVER. If I declare bankruptcy and can divide my piffle paycheck so that at least SOME of it can go towards savings, then at the end of ten years when the bankruptcy falls off my credit report I will have something, instead of nothing. Or just…more of the nothing I have right now.

Issue #5: I can’t pay these bills. (see the price outline in the first paragraph.) Won’t these companies just sue me anyway, if I don’t declare?

Look. I love and respect my mother (who is not a financier.) I do not want to make her sad because her daughter went bankrupt before the age of 30. But let’s be realistic here. How much worse could my situation POSSIBLY GET if I declare, file for Chapter 7 and get my debts forgiven so that I may begin to rebuild.

I would very much appreciate ANY input, on a REALISTIC, REASONABLE alternative to me filing for bankruptcy. I have listened to “Financial University” by Dave Ramsey about 1000x and I’ve read Suze Orman’s books and seen her show.

It would bring me so much comfort, and I would so appreciate it, if my peers on yahoo who have experience or knowledge with this kind of thing could reach out and give me their honest, informed opinions.

Answer Man answers:

Actually filing for bankruptcy is not as bad as you think. While it will take up to 7 years for your credit to repair. It isn’t so great now because you still can’t pay the bills. As for your mom. Why would she be shamed. No one would know you filed unless you or she told them.

The job – keep looking not all well paying jobs perform a credit check. I was unable to get a job as an airport screener but was able to get a well paying government job. (funny)

Living with mom – Moving will not be as big an issue as you think.

The car – filing for bankruptcy you can opt not to keep the car and they have no choice but to take it or give it to you for free. Sounds like they have bullied you into keeping a vehicle you did not want. However you may have trouble getting another car. Not impossible but you will not get the greatest deal interest wise. But you can get something more affordable.

Suing – Yes eventually they will sue you and most likely win. They are then able to garnish up to 1/3 of your paycheck. Which will make your situation worse.

Storage Bill – Have a sale and sell off most of your stuff. Keep your bed, dishes and some personal items. Everything else can be replaced once you get back on your feet.

Medicine – If you have a free clinic in your area. The health care is great and the medication they prescribe is free.

Long story short. It may benefit you to file. Is a COPY good for anything?

Here’s the background to my question: First off, my husband and I are already married, and I can’t remember if we needed or used our original birth certificates, or even any birth certificate at all back when we were filing for marriage in the state of California.

However, For the purpose of disaster emergency preparation, I’m trying to compile/locate papers to stick into our safety deposit box at the bank. Original Birth certificates is one of them.

I have a copy of mine, and my parents have the original. As of now, the plan was to put my COPY in my safety deposit box, and let my parents keep the original, I suppose…

…but I’m wondering what good is the ORIGINAL for, and what good might a COPY be for? Is the copy for any good use?

I left the original with my parents because they said it’s hard to get anymore copies since it’s from Asia and then translated, so he gave me the option of taking the copy or the original. I thought, its been safe with them (they’re organized) for this many years, maybe I should just continue to leave it there and just take the copy. For example, passports, Social Security (filing for benefits or getting a replacement social security card), under certain circumstances for employment, etc.

Do your parents live near you? This applies to any country signed onto the WHO.

When it comes to the legal framework under the WHO, PHAC has absolutely no details or restrictions in terms of who will administer the inoculations and how. This means that once WHO pandemic policies are enacted, it could allow non-healthcare personnel, such as police and military to vaccinate people against their will to enforce mandatory vaccinations

“Canada is deceiving the public and promoting a whole new dimension of voluntary cooperation for vaccines,” said Margaret Sauvé, a nurse and medical administrator from Montreal, Quebec. “If this is their idea of voluntary cooperation, I would really hate to see what a mandatory policy would look like, because we have no choice if we want to keep our jobs” she added.

—————————

Now please read this as well

http://www.theflucase.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=647%3Alen-horowitz-files-pandemic-charges-against-rockefeller&catid=1%3Alatest-news&Itemid=64〈=en

Dr. Leonard G. Horowitz and Sherri Kane, an investigative journalist, have released evidence in legal affidavits that leaders of a private global biotechnology “trust” are behind the pandemic flu, including its origin and alleged prevention via vaccinations. Their documents, being sent by attorneys to the FBI this week, evidence industrialists are operating a crime ring within the “Partnership for New York City” (PNYC), and are behind the pandemic’s creation, media persuasions, vaccination preparations, and health official promotions.

Among the revelations from the Horowitz-Kane research are those linking Larry Silverstein of Silverstein Properties, Inc., and the 9-11 terrorist attacks, to the drug cartel’s geopolitical, economic, and population reduction activities. Mr. Silverstein, leaser of the World Trade Center who authorized to have Building-7 “pulled” [detonated] is a chief suspect in the “9-11 truth” investigation. Silverstein is currently landlord and co-partner in the biotechnology trust founded by David Rockefeller and implicated by these new discoveries.

Given the unprecedented nature and urgency of these findings, Dr. Horowitz has posted his affidavit for public review on FLUscam.com, hoping wide spread dissemination will prompt governments worldwide to cease mass vaccination preparations to avoid becoming accessories

Answer Man answers:

This is a good possibility. For instance, if you were in an aviation unit like myself, or MEDAVAC, you would fly around on a UH-60 (Blackhawk) and attend to soldiers and help them if needed. It all depends on the unit you decide to join and their missions. It all revolves around that and supporting the mission.

Good luck.

Your MOS is not discrimitory towards sex, so anything a male can do a female can do as well. 11B, infantry, on the other hand, you would of course not even be able to have that MOS.
